Welcome to Cewski Designs!

David Zahacewski is a professional Entertainment Designer and is currently working in the California Theatrical Lighting industry. David has worked in Connecticut, New York, and California Theatre industry's since 2012 as a Lighting, Scenic, Projection, and Sound designer. David has designed at theatres across the country including, Long Beach Playhouse, The Armstrong Theatre, The Theatre of Arts in Hollywood, CA, Western Connecticut State University, The Ridgefield Playhouse (CT) and assisted at the historic Central City Opera House in Central City, Colorado.

David graduated from California State University Long Beach with his MFA in Lighting Design (Summa Cum Laude). He recently started his career in film lighting and scenic design. He has worked with producers and directors on various music videos and dance pieces, including collaborating with VRYE NETWORK and Irene Ashu.

David has vast experience with theatrical and event space renovation and design. He has worked closely with Bell High School, The Warner Grand, Theatre Of Arts, Long Beach Playhouse, and Jaxx Theatricals to modernize their Lighting, Projection, and sound equipment to the 21st century. David also has experience in personal and corporate party design and motif building.

David has taught lighting design and lab at California State University Long Beach. He occasionally guest lectures at local high schools and is on the theatrical advisement board of Bell High School in Bell, CA.
